The Advanced Materials Business manufactures coating and slitting equipment for a wide range of industrial films, including display films. Using high-speed precision coating and UV curing technologies, we produce top-quality products and manufacture copper foil production equipment essential for electronic materials and devices.

The products we manufacture are used as raw materials in flexible components for mobile phones, LCD monitors, HDDs, and more. In the production of display films, which account for the highest proportion of our output, resin- and solvent-based solutions are applied using roll, die, or sheet coating systems. The coating thickness is controlled by the micro speed differences of rotating rolls aligned with the direction of movement. After coating, the material undergoes a drying process followed by UV curing, surface coating, precision cutting into fixed sizes, and rewinding.

Process Flow
Melting
Raw materials are dissolved into an electrolyte solution to produce electrolysis fluid for copper foil plating.
Plating
Copper ions in the electrolyte are deposited onto a titanium drum to form copper foil of a uniform thickness.
Surface Treatment
The surface of the copper foil is treated to enhance performance and prevent oxidation.
Slitting
The copper foil is cut in the cross direction to the required width.
